A Personal Note from Velvet. . .

Integrity has become very compromised in our society. As I look around and see some of the things that not only our young people are getting involved with but also the generation who is suppose to be setting the example, I am amazed at how selfish the world is. Sure we get involved in great charities and we will contribute and say that we support great causes, but honestly, actions speak so much louder than words! What are we doing daily to make an impact on the individuals that we interact with every day? What decisions are we making to show others we are people of confidence and will be there to support them emotionally and give honest, biblical references to questions that are being sought out! Our mission is right here in our back door. There are so many people who think, well, if no one knows what than there are no consequences...BUT my friend there are consequences to all actions. Integrity is doing what is right even when no one is looking! Some feel it doesn't really matter but it does! We are all impacted by the decisions of other, how did this economy get into the situation we are facing? Someone made a decision and then it had an impact across the entire US, now it impacts the world! I think of Christ and His grace, he made a decision and do you realize that it had a world impact! I encourage each of us, to look at where we are, determine where we want to be and take actions to get you to that point. For me the only way to get there is through Christ and His grace. It is all sufficient! Even when I don't think He hears my prayers, He really does. And even when I think I am all by myself, I'm really not. He promised He would never forsake us and this is what I choose to believe. Life is full of choices and I want to be someone who makes wise choices. Can anyone honestly say that they want to make bad choices in life? We have to realize that our choices determine who we are and what our outcome will be! When I think of what life would be without Christ, I wonder how I would handle life's situations alone. I  want to teach my son to be thankful. Even when it's hard at times, there is peace in God.  For every situation and for every burden we bare, God is more than able to handle it.  Allow yourself to be wrapped up in the love of Christ today.  Reach out to Him and talk to Him. He desires to have a relationship with you and created you just for that very purpose. You will find answers to all your uncertainties with Him. Let Him take off the blinders that are keeping you from taking hold of what is real!

Blessing to you and yours,

Velvet
