In December of 2002 I became a
Mommy and these last few years I have
come to know Christ in a depth that I never knew Him in before. I
have been raised in church, went to church camps, sang as a child and
ended up going to our church college. I knew what
being a Christian was all about. What I didn't know was just how
thick the blood of Christ is that washes our sins away. And how
precious it is to rest in the arms of the Savior.
It is so
comforting to know that when people fail you and leave you abandoned,
God is still there, reaching out His arms of protection to wrap us up
and care for us in our time of need. I think that everyone likes
to have someone put their arms around them and give them a big hug.
But until you have had the arms of Jesus around you, hugging and
surrounding you with His "perfect" love, you can never imagine what
real love is.
